Noelle George has her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington and has experience in engineering and project management in the oil and gas industry. She has also worked in finance, technology, and customer service prior to obtaining her engineering degree. Noelle was the Ambassador Director for Atheist Alliance International and founded and served as President of SECULAR Center. Upon SCUSA's merger with Foundation Beyond Belief in 2011, Noelle became the program coordinator for Volunteers Beyond Belief. She is also the Coordinator for the Houston Freethought Alliance. Noelle lives in Houston with her husband, her 5 month old daughter Sonia, 15 year old cat (Chica), and 3 year old dog (Luna). She became an atheist about 15 years ago but was only recently inspired to get involved with atheist and humanist causes. She enjoys music, playing the piano, singing off key, writing, and traveling.
